hrscreative began life in 1987 as Hill Rae Smith Associates from our previous location in London Bridge.

In 1990, we relocated just an hour away to Lewes, East Sussex where from our base in an old converted brewery. Keeping with the beer theme, in 2023 (33 years later!), we move to Cliffe High Street – Still in Lewes, but opposite Harvey’s Brewery and their shop, we spend our time creating and crafting beautifully designed identity, campaigns, promotional items and literature for our valued charity, health and retail clients. We are committed to meeting each new brief with imagination, creative flair and enthusiasm. A wide range of graphic design services are provided including branding, corporate literature and reports, advertising, direct mail, exhibitions and design for online. We are proud to have retained many of our clients from the first year of trading but we continue to grow our client base with organisations that require a professional creative design service without the London price tag.

A creative agency that works with the private sector, public sector and the third sector (charity, voluntary & not-for-profit). Our clients include UNISON, Diabetes UK, Royal College of Nursing, King’s College London, University of Bedfordshire and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Awards.

How we work

Headed by Clare Crouch, hrscreative is a creative design agency with considerable experience. We understand how challenging it is to create a voice that stands out from the crowd and so we believe in keeping the message simple. A powerful and engaging statement needs to stand out.

Knowing how to reach out to multiple, often diverse audiences with one document, we create powerful and cost-effective communications that target people of diverse religions, ages, backgrounds and cultures including donors, trusts, stakeholders and staff.

Our approach

When designing, we can be funny and light-hearted, honest and heartfelt or astutely commercially driven to generate response. We create documents that are informative, call for action, raise awareness, ask for donations or reach out to those in need, creating awareness of a vital and much needed service.
