The Diabetes UK Professional Conference is the UK’s leading annual event for healthcare professionals working in diabetes, bringing together experts, researchers and practitioners for three days of inspiring presentations, the latest research and valuable networking opportunities.

hrscreative has partnered with Diabetes UK on the conference and exhibition since 2015, delivering creative design across venues including London ExCeL, Glasgow SEC, Manchester Central and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. For the 2026 conference in Liverpool, we were commissioned to design and deliver the organisation’s main exhibition stand.

The double-sided, three-dimensional stand featured a striking walkthrough arch, creating an inviting focal point within the exhibition hall. One side celebrated the work of Diabetes UK, while the other was dedicated to Together Type 1, a community supporting 11 to 25-year-olds living with type 1 diabetes, connecting young people who understand the realities of managing life with the condition.

Using the bold Diabetes UK brand identity, vibrant colour palette and large-format cut-out photography, we created a visually impactful space that encouraged visitors to explore, engage and connect with both initiatives.

Beyond the annual conference, we have also supported Diabetes UK with a wide range of design projects, including branding for its volunteering programme, regional reports, core information guides, fundraising materials and social media campaigns.
